Hello everyone. My name is Ms. Davis and I will be your 4th grade Math/Science teacher this year. This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Lewis, but I have been a substitute here for three years prior.
I have an amazing fiance who I get the privilege of marrying in November of this year. We have a lovable pit bull named Saint, who is 10 years old (even though he acts like a little puppy). He is our only fur-child and he keeps me busy. He loves to go for rides with me, and talking long walks around the block. My father was in the Air Force, therefore I am a military brat. I moved around many many times before landing here in Niceville around the end of my 8th grade year. YES! I did go to Lewis for my 8th grade year. I am proud to say that I teach here now. I went off to graduate from Niceville High School. I did a few semesters at UWF in Pensacola, but ended up getting my Education Degree right here at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville. My degree is in Middle Grade Math which covers 5th-9th grade, but I am certified from K-9th grade. Family is very important to me. I have a younger sister, Linsey, who lives in Tallahassee now. My parents both live in Niceville and work on Eglin. They are both from a small town in South Louisana (about an hour South of New Orleans) called Galliano. Most people will recognize the places closer to it such as: Fouchon, Houma, or Golden Meadow. I LOVE going down to visit all of my family and to go fishing at their fish camp in Fouchon. It is always a family reunion when we go down, because I can visit ALL of my relatives within a day! I talk about them a lot during the school year too! Of course I have to call out my LSU tigers, because they are the best! I love watching football or any sports when it comes to my tigers. In the end, I love spending time with my fiance, my puppy, family and friends. We love going fishing together, and just spending quality time together. I am very excited about this new year with all of my new students. I hope they will feel welcomed and like part of the family that I will try to show them we can be. I can't wait for all of the amazing memories and fun things we will get to do this year! Get Ready! |
